Accomodation

Cape Flying Services has its own Crew Houses in George which accommodate full-time students. These consist of several bedrooms for two Students sharing containing desks for study purposes. There is a lounge with a television and an outside entertainment area and "braai" area. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stoves, fridge's and cooking utensils.
The houses are self catering. This cost is included in your quotation at R35.00 per day for the time period as quoted under your course curriculum. Any additional usage of the Crew Houses has a surcharge of R45.00 per day.

On commencement of your course, you will be required to sign a document accepting responsibility for any Crew House equipment that will be in your possession for the duration of the course. A Property Deposit of R1000.00 is required upon signature of the document. In the unlikely event of any damage to the equipment, replacement costs will be deducted from your Property Deposit and the balance is fully refundable at the end of your stay at the Crew House.
The Crew Houses are basic and has a definite "student res" feeling, so for those wanting more luxurious accommodation at an additional cost to the student, Cape Flying Services can arrange alternative accommodation :

  • Fancourt: a five star country estate with a magnificent golf course designed by Gary Player. ± R1700.00 a night per person.
  • Dutton's Cove: These popular self-catering wooden chalets, overlooking scenic Herold's Bay, nestle in wild countryside. ± R150.00 a night per person during non-peak season. It is situated 10 kilometers from the Airport.
  • Hawthorndene : A local hotel that offers our students bed, breakfast and a calvery dinner at R150.00 a night per person on condition that the student stays longer than one week at the Hotel.

PLEASE NOTE : All the accommodation prices quoted above are subject to change without notice and Cape Flying Services will not be held liable for any costs incurred.
