Cape Flying Services is one of only a handful of schools on the African continent to offer full-time live-in courses for Private and Commercial Pilots.

Cape Flying Services has been operating for over 30 years now, part of the World famous Test Pilots School TFASA group, and under the supervision of Gerald Todd who has managed the company since 1988. Cape Flying Services was one of the first to offer the full time Private Pilot License course in South Africa and since then has grown to become one of the top flight training facilities in the world - training from ab initio through to Commercial with twin, instrument and instructors ratings.

We are internationally known and have trained pilots from all over the world ; Dutch, German, British and various African countries. Many of our graduated Students are now flying with Safair internationally, South African Airways, S.A. Express, Cathay Pacific and other airlines. Other graduated Pilots are now crop-spraying, doing aerial survey and photographic work; some are employed doing bush-pilot work and other interesting flying jobs.
